Originally from Mississippi, Allen trained in boxing and wrestling in high school before studying criminal justice at Southeastern Louisiana University. Subsequently, he then joined Clementi’s Gladiator Academy to train further in MMA. Additionally, Allen won the 2015 IMMAF Amateur Middleweight Championship. He started his professional career fighting for various promotions, winning the Legacy Fighting Alliance middleweight title.
